The viscosity of emulsions paints is an important parameter which influenced the stability in-can of paints, reaction to application, the thickness of film.
For the paint formulation with optimum consistency, PROCIV offers the following thickener types:
Cellulose ethers
The cellulose derivate are basic components in water based coatings products as well as in the pastes. Besides the adjustment of consistency these work together as protection colloids and improved the water retention and bonding ability.
Acrylics thickeners
These are acrylic copolymers in water based and develop a thickener property at alkaline pH.
